ROUND 2-A: Dimentio VS Team Red

About Dimentio: He repeatably went behind Count Bleck's back with the goal of using the Chaos Heart himself, getting Mario, Peach, and Bowser to where they need strength-wise to defeat Count Bleck. He often insults and confuses the heroes but also fakes respect for them and tries to "join" their side. He's complete fine with recreating the universe in his own image and was going to destroy everything beyond repair out of spite if he couldn't rule over it. At the end of the game he mind controls Luigi and merges with him and the Chaos Heart to defeat Mario (which is a plan that fails).

About Team Red: A group of five consisting of Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Donut, and Lopez. A list of their exploits includes: Sarge giving Grif Simmons' limbs and then making Simmons a cyborg because he didn't want Grif to be one, Repeatably blowing up their jeep which plays polka music everytime it's driven, Lopez being stuck in Spanish mode and using the fact that none of the team knows Spanish to insult them, Donut taking a grenade to the face and returning with "Light Red-ish" that he refuses to admit is pink, Sarge getting deemed Super-Colonal just to outrank Grif, Simmons burring Sarge alive to become leader with Sarge actually thinking he's dead because command said so and Red Command is never wrong, Grif's colorblind sister trying to join them but accidentally joining Team Blue instead, and Sarge legally changing his name to Sarge to "Dress for the job he wanted".

Imo the most important thing a writer (or any artist) can be is earnest. You can have no technical skill whatsoever and write a complete stinker and you'll still have a story some readers will fall in love with, so long as they can tell you really meant it and really gave it a shot. Everything else is artifice.
